A Gentleman's Guide to Dear and Murder is a high-style, British romantic farce set in Edwardian era London. The plot centers on Monty Navarro, a penniless clerk in 1907 London, who is informed afterward the death of his mother that he is ninth in line to inherit the Earldom of Highhurst, controlled past the wealthy D'Ysquith cyberbanking family. Later the ruling Lord dismisses Monty's claim of beingness a relative, the eight D'Ysquiths ahead of immature Mr. Navarro begin dying in natural and unnatural ways. Meanwhile, Monty is desperately trying to woo money-minded, social-climber Sibella Hallward — until he finds himself drawn to the lovely Phoebe D'Ysquith. Alex Aiken (Miss Marietta Shingle, Ancestral Portrait & Ensemble; Understudy for Sibella Hallward) is very excited to be a part of SCC's production of A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder. The concluding show they rehearsed for at SCC was Once Upon Mattress, and Alex would have played the Magician in that production had COVID not happened (2020). Alex was born and raised in Arizona and has been doing theatre, both onstage and backstage, for twenty years. In their spare time, they bask cartoon and working on freelance art commissions as a task. Alex would like to give thanks their mother and grandmother for initially getting them involved in theatre. They also wish to thank all the teachers and directors they've worked with over the years, as well as Dr. Dark-green and Dr. Rugen, for the opportunity to play Miss Shingle (among other roles) in this product. Elizabeth Bridgewater (Sibella Hallward) is currently a Music Education educatee enrolled at Mesa Community College. Elizabeth is office of both MCC's Concert Choir and Jazz Vocal Ensemble. You may have recently seen her in roles such equally Sleeping Beauty in Disenchanted (2019 & 2021), and in the production of A Beautiful Noise at Fountain Hills Theater (2021). She had the peachy opportunity to see A Gentleman'southward Guide to Dearest and Murder at Fountain Hills Theater in 2020; and ever since, she has wanted to perform in this show – then Elizabeth is delighted to be playing Sibella. Elizabeth has also had the privilege to be in such productions equally Into the Wood (Cinderella's Stepmother) at Mesa Encore Theater, and Seussical (The Mayor's Wife) at Zao Theater in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Hector Coris (The D'Ysquith Family) was last seen in Stage Left's product of The Gods of Comedy (2022) and Mesa Encore Theater's Funny Matter Happened on the Way to the Forum and Best of Broadway. He was killed 135 times before during the 2020 product of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder at Fountain Hills Theater. Hector has starred opposite Television and film stars Bronson Pinchot (Annie), Debby Boone, Charles Shaughnessy (42nd Street) and Peter Scolari (Man of La Mancha) with Scottsdale Musical Theater Company. Hector originally hails from NYC where he received the award for Best Male person Vocalist of 2010 by the Manhattan Association of Cabaret & Clubs. Matthew Gross (The Magistrate, Mr. Goodsall, Lord Asquith'southward Physician, Bequeathed Portrait, Pub Owner & Ensemble; Understudy for Monty Navarro) is a sophomore at SCC in the Musical Theatre Program. During his high school career, Matthew's favorite roles were Mal Beineke in The Addams Family and Reverend Shaw Moore in Fancy-free. He was recently seen in the horror play, Let the Right One In, with the Scottsdale School of Film+Theatre (2021) and is excited to exist performing in A Gentleman's Guide to Honey & Murder. Matthew looks forrad to performing in future SCC productions, and he'd like to thank his parents for supporting him through all of his musical theatre endeavors.

Nicholas Gunnell (Montague "Monty" Navarro) is thrilled to be performing on the SCC mainstage for the first time. This will be Nick'south second time portraying the function of Monty Navarro, and he could not be happier! Nick played Monty at Fountain Hills Theater in 2020, alongside co-star Hector Coris. He was recently seen as Bert (Mary Poppins) and Fred (A Christmas Carol) at Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert, Arizona. Other credits include: Huckleberry Finn (Big River), Albert Kummer (Dear Ruth), Will Flower (Large Fish), Mary Sunshine (Chicago), and Bobby Strong (Urinetown – AriZoni Award Winner). Nick has performed all over the Valley with Mesa Encore Theater, Unhurt Center Theatre, and Fountain Hills Theater. Nicholas volition before long be gracing the stage in the starring role of Phantom in Mesa Community College's Phantom of the Opera during the 2022-2023 year. Nick would like to thank his family, especially his married woman, Bister, and his son, Walter, for the dearest and support he receives from them.

Noah Guzman (Tom Copley, Mr. Cantankerous, Lord High Steward, Ancestral Bust & Ensemble) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University. He is settling into his new position at Deluxe, an entertainment media subtitling/translation company. He was last seen on the SCC mainstage equally both Luke and Ares - god of war in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical in Fall 2021. Noah has been involved in community theatre since 2014; and while at ASU, he performed in a one-act play with Binary Theatre. Noah's favorite roles include Corny Collins in Hairspray, Luke in The Haunting of Loma House, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, and Chino in Westward Side Story at Valley Youth Theatre. This concluding year has fabricated Noah determined to return to the stage and continue growing as a performer. When he's non rehearsing for a show, Noah reviews movies and co-hosts a film podcast called Plot Devices.

Hailee Haynes (Lady Eugenia D'Ysquith, Mrs. Hetherington, Pub Owner'due south Wife, Sibella'southward Maid & Ensemble; Understudy for The D'Ysquith Family unit) is a Musical Theatre major at Scottsdale Community College. She began her on-stage training in 2016 at Christian Youth Theater and continues to strop her phonation and interim craft at SCC and through masterclasses at the Phoenix Theatre Visitor. Hailee has performed in musicals for Christian Youth Theater, Actors Youth Theater, Dream Urban center Church, and now SCC. Her favorite role then far was playing The Aloof Lady in Dazzler and the Animate being; she besides enjoyed portraying Mrs. Dodds and The Oracle in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical at SCC (Fall 2021). Michael Henry (Chief Inspector Pinckney, Mourning Man, Newsboy, Ancestral Portrait & Ensemble; Understudy for The D'Ysquith Family unit) is currently a freshman at Scottsdale Community Higher, majoring in Creative Arts. Michael was last seen starring every bit Percy Jackson on the SCC mainstage in our fall 2021 product of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Alex Kass (Fight Choreographer) is very excited to be a part of A Admirer's Guide to Honey and Murder at SCC. Alex has been a Fight Director for several years, grooming in many theatres across the state. His fight choreography has been featured in several Arizona productions, including: Let the Right 1 In (Stray True cat Theatre), Rhino (At present/And then Theatre), American Psycho: The Musical (Stray True cat Theatre); and he was the Assistant Fight Director for Macbeth at 1000 Coulee Academy. Hale Larsen (Tour Guide, Phoebe's Maid, Newsboy, Mrs. Pebworth, Ancestral Portrait & Ensemble) is a Musical Theatre major at SCC and wishes to continue their educational activity through a university theatre program. This is Unhurt'southward second production at Scottsdale Community College, and they are also involved with SCC's Bedchamber Singers Choir and Dance Department. Hale performed previously at Paradise Valley Community College in I Love You, You're Perfect; Now Modify (Veronica) and The Beaux' Stratagem (Cherry). Hale's main goal in life is to be a performer and put a grinning on people'south faces while doing it.

José Martinez (Mr. Gorby, the Butler; Dr. Brownlee, Ancestral Portrait & Ensemble; Understudy for The D'Ysquith Family) is a second-year Acting Major at Scottsdale Community College. He has been involved in several productions, including State of war of the Worlds (equally Secretary of the Interior, et al) and Twelfth Night, in which he played Sir Andrew Aguecheek plus served every bit the Dramaturg for the product. Ivana Martinic (Phoebe D'Ysquith) is elated to be making her debut on the SCC mainstage equally Phoebe D'Ysquith in this production of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Ivana was recently seen in Hale Centre Theatre's production of A Christmas Ballad every bit Mrs. Cratchitt. With vocal performance degrees from Eastman Schoolhouse of Music and the University of Utah, too as having performed on stages beyond the country and internationally, Ivana has a rich background in opera and musical theatre. Maddie McDonald (Assistant Stage Manager & Choreographer) is a dedicated choreographer, teacher, and artist. Born in Kennesaw, Georgia, and raised in Cave Creek, Arizona, Maddie has been performing in some chapters for her entire life: cheerleading, gymnastics, theatre, and trip the light fantastic. Trip the light fantastic was a afterward-found passion only is at present her chosen "medium;" Maddie is currently working towards her AAFA in Dance at Scottsdale Community College. Previously, she danced with Canyon Move Company in Flagstaff; she is currently a dancer with Instinct Dance Corps at SCC. Maddie was the Choreographer and Backstage Managing director for The Lighting Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical on SCC's mainstage in Autumn 2021. Maddie recently won 1st Place in both Performance and Choreography in the Artist of Promise Contest (2022). As an artist, Maddie strives to spread acceptance and positivity and desires to help people be the best version of themselves through inventiveness.

Sarai Phillips-Dunlap (Miss Evangeline Barley, Bequeathed Portrait, Miss Hayes, Servant Selina Chard & Ensemble) is thrilled to exist a role of her first product with Scottsdale Community College. Sarai graduated with a degree in Vocal Functioning and Opera from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She performed at Meredith and with the Opera Company of North Carolina (now called Northward Carolina Opera) for two years. In the Valley of the Sun, she has performed in Zao Theater's productions of Hello Dolly, Suessical, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Ragtime. Sarai has besides performed in Miscast at Brelby Theatre in Glendale, Arizona, plus in Backstage, Choose Your Own Original Musicals and the DarkSide Cabaret as part of Skilderverse Theater Grouping.

Zakary Scott (Prison Clerk, Pub Patron, Newsboy, Weightlifter, Dr. Pettibone, Medical Examiner) already earned his Associate of Arts degree, but he is now enrolled at SCC in the Schoolhouse of Film+Theatre. Zak was last seen playing Mr. Brunner (a.k.a. Chiron, wise centaur) and Poseidon, god of the sea, in SCC'southward mainstage product of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical in Autumn 2021. Zak also enjoyed playing Full general Montgomery Smith in the War of the Worlds production at SCC. Zak would like to thank Don Williams, his acting teacher for the last few semesters. Meet The Directors

Director: Shannon Noelle Greenish, Ph.D.

Dr. Shannon Noelle Green is an educational psychologist, actor, director, and writer/editor. She is currently an adjunct professor in musical theatre at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona, and she is a native Phoenician who has studied and trained in Boston, Massachusetts and Europe. During her time with the British American Drama Academy in London and Oxford, England, Dr. Green studied under many distinguished phase/film actors and directors, including Oscar and Tony Award-winning actors, Sir Anthony Hopkins (The Father and Silence of the Lambs) and Jeremy Irons (The Lion King); the late Sir Alan Rickman (Harry Potter films); Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve); Mick Barnfather (Commedia dell'Arte), and phase and film manager/producer, Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia!). Dr. Green also trained with professional Shakespearean actors, such as Simon Callow (Shakespeare in Love), and Italian-British actress Paula Dionisotti, from the world-renowned Imperial Shakespeare Company. In London, Dr. Green performed in the ensemble of Fear and Misery of the Third Reich by Bertolt Brecht at the Tricycle Theatre. While in Italy, she was a student of Italian literature and movie house at L'Università di Padova (Padua and Venice) and L'Università di Firenze (Florence), in addition to having an internship at Cinecittà, the illustrious film studios in Rome.

Dr. Green became eligible in 2015 for SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Goggle box & Radio Artists). She has appeared in Please Tell Me I'm Adopted! Boob tube/Web-serial one-act, Season one: Episode 5 starring Marion Ross (Mrs. Cunningham from the Television set sitcom "Happy Days") - filmed in Los Angeles and bachelor on Amazon Prime Video in March 2017. Around the Valley, some of her favorite roles included Patsy in Patsy's Conjugal Shower at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Mesa; Raising Arizona Kids Report: Channel 12 News/Tv set; All in the Timing at the Herberger Theatre; and Annie in The Norman Conquests: Round & Round the Garden at Desert Foothills Theatre in Scottsdale.

Dr. Greenish has successfully commingled her work in the arts with educational psychology. Every bit an educator, Dr. Greenish worked at Phoenix State Day School, All Saints' Episcopal Day School, Arizona School for the Arts, and New School for the Arts instruction center school and high school theatre, English language/Language Arts, Creative Writing, Sabbatum preparation, and report skills seminars. Music Director: Dr. Kira Zeeman Rugen, D.M.A.

Dr. Kira Zeeman Rugen is a conductor, composer, singer and professor from Scottsdale, Arizona. Every bit a higher professor, she is currently choral and musical theatre faculty at Scottsdale Customs College, in Arizona. Dr. Rugen's former positions include the Managing director of Choral Activities and Music Director for Musical Theater at Arizona Christian University, where her choirs performed with Andrea Bocelli in live concert and with the renowned Irish gaelic Band, The Chieftains. In turn, at G Canyon University, Dr. Rugen taught music history, conducting, and music didactics courses. During her time as a Kinesthesia Associate at Arizona State University, Dr. Rugen conducted Schola Cantorum (a choir comprised of undergraduate music majors) and Choral Union, the 100+ member community choir. Now in her twenty-3rd year as a music educator, Dr. Rugen has greatly enjoyed being the Music Director of Broadway shows such as, The Music Human being, Joseph and the Astonishing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oklahoma, Les Misérables (Schoolhouse Edition), Grease and Once Upon a Mattress.

Dr. Rugen is the founder and Artistic Director for Solis (Choir of the Sun), a professional person choir. At present in their eleventh flavor, Solis' collaborations include high-contour performances with The Eagles, Phoenix Symphony for Zelda, Symphony of the Goddesses, Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy, plus performing with composer Ramin Djawadi for the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience. As a professional person singer, Dr. Rugen is in her eighteenth season as a soprano with the Phoenix Chorale, with whom she has won 2 Grammy Awards. Furthermore, she has performed with Norvis Early Music in Durham, England; at Carnegie Hall'south Young Artist Concert Series with Ton Koopman; at Korea's Incheon International Choral Festival; and she toured with Anúna (Republic of ireland's National Choir) nether Michael McGlynn throughout Ireland, Nihon and Mainland china.

Dr. Rugen's compositions (found at the Fred Bock Grouping/Gentry Publications and MusicSpoke.com) have been performed effectually the world. High contour commissions and performances include the Phoenix Chorale, THE CHORAL PROJECT, Vox Musica, Northwest Oklahoma State University Singers, CU Boulder, Cor Cantiamo, Academy of Redlands, Kansas City Chorale, the Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Brieuc Cathédrale (Children and Youth Choir) and the Master Chorale of Flagstaff. She was recently named as the 3rd Prize Winner in The American Prize, professional choral composition division and a 2021 semi-finalist for the Ernst Bacon Memorial Award for operation of American Music Limerick.

Dr. Kira Z. Rugen received her Bachelor of Arts at Weber State University in 1998 where she studied choral music, viola, and vocalization. She earned her Master's in Music Education with an emphasis in Vocal Operation at Arizona Country University in 2002. She then graduated with a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting and a cognate in Vocal Performance at Arizona Land University in May 2013. Dr. Rugen is the proud mother of two teenagers and two dogs, and she enjoys traveling with her married man and family.
